What is MoIT e-commerce registration and who needs it?
Vietnam's Decree 52/2013 (amended by Decree 85/2021) requires all e-commerce websites operating in Vietnam to register at online.gov.vn (Ministry of Industry and Trade portal). This applies to: websites selling goods or services to Vietnamese consumers with a Vietnamese domain (.vn) OR foreign-domain sites with Vietnamese as a primary interface language.
